Intense ruby red color with light garnet hues. Vibrant aromas of citrus marmalade, dried fruit and sultanas. Full-bodied, solidly structured lingering palate with a pleasantly tannic finish. Hints of licorice in the aftertaste. Varietal - Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon.

A2 Ruffino Riserva Ducale Chianti Classico Riserva Ducale Gold
A very classic Chianti Classico bouquet with notes of violets, cherries, plums and inviting spicy sensations. It is elegant and lush, inviting yet subtle, featuring all the distinctive characters of a great Chianti Classico. Full bodied, with a generous, fruity core, where the notes of cherries and small berry fruits intertwine with sensations of Mediterranean herbs, such as rosemary and thyme, and hints of oak. The alcohol is well-integrated in the structure and the tannins are impressive, yet round and soft. The aftertaste is very long and reminiscent of violets, nutmeg, plums and sweet tobacco.

Fabrizio Bianchi produces Monsanto Il Poggio Riserva with Sangiovese 90%, Canaiolo 7%, Colorino 3% grapes. The Sangioveto Grape variety has been gown at Monsanto for over 200 years. The name and locality of Monsanto dates back to 998 AD.

This wine originates in the semi-circle of hills surrounding the three ancient villages of Barbaresco, Neive and Treiso, and a part of San Rocco Seno d'Elvio, a tiny village overlooking the Tanaro River. The wine is 100% Nebbiolo and has been aged for one year in oak barrels and a further year in its bottle. The wine has an intense red garnet color, and a dry, full-bodied flavor. Perfect for roasted meats and game.

B4 Jordan Cabernet Sauvignon
Combining the artistry of the old world with the technology of the new, Jordan produces Cabernet Sauvignon, blended in the tradition of Bordeaux, and Chardonnay, crafted in the tradition of a white Burgundy. Jordan Cabernet Sauvignons have been made in such a way that they are round, fragrant and approachable upon release, but have the capacity to age beautifully. The blend generally comprises about 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Franc. This, with the use of both French and American small oak cooperage followed by bottle aging in Jordan's cellars, adds to the wine's consistently elegant style.

  The Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is a complex and elegant wine that balances the expression of fruity and savory elements with finesse. The wine has a dark ruby color with a purple edge and displays aromas of black plum, soy sauce, chocolate, rose petals, cedar and black olive. Ferrari-Carano's Trésor is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malbec, Petite Verdot, and Cabernet Franc. This wine has flavors of black cherry and plum, mingled with warm cedar, eucalyptus and the sweet toast of French oak.

Showing a lustrous dark ruby, Opus One presents aromas of violets, cedar, black tea leaves, black pepper and brioche. A soft, creamy entry gives way to a concentrated mid-palate; elements of cassis, toffee and cocoa round out the rich flavors of the wine.

Pinot Noir is a very delicate grape that requires great attention, but the reward of this care is a very elegant wine with subtle aromas of violets and cinnamon. The wines are aged in 50 to 60 gallon French oak barrels for a total of 17 months in our cool cellars before being bottled. A noble wine grape, Pinot Noir tends to produce wines of delicacy rather than power. ZD Pinot Noirs are crafted to reflect richness and intense varietal character in a style that uses the California sunshine in a cool growing region to fully mature the grapes for intensity and flavor.

The Pomino Bianoc offers a very appealing and well balanced the palate with dynamic finish that recapitulates the aromas of the bouquet.

The fruit is harvested at optimal maturity from several vineyards in California's coolest growing regions - Napa & Sonoma Carneros, Monterey & Santa Barbara counties. ZD's rich, balanced, fruit driven Chardonnays drink amazingly well. This wine exhibits aromas of ripe pineapple, apricots and fresh orange blossoms. Subtle hints of sweet vanilla, pear, honey and toasted nuts round out a full palate of lush tropical fruit and well balanced acidity.

The emotion of a dense, deep substance, fleshy on the lips. A smooth flow, like a wave of sensations unfurling. The initial notes of fresh almonds and grapefruit gradually lead into cashew nuts and spices complemented by lightly toasted brioche. On the palate, an instant of weightlessness, matter vanishes, the finish vibrates, and the taste buds are aroused by controlled ardor. The persistence is remarkable, with just the slightest undertone of tartness (citrus zest and buds).

  Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin Rose Reserve '98
A luminous, deep gold/red and a persistent, fine mousse. The rich, intense nose displays notes of dried fruits (black figs, dates) and mild spices (vanilla) in harmony with a softer, almost creamy base. On the palate the texture is deep, dense and tightly woven. The structure of the pinot noir is perfectly rounded. Gracious notes of black cherries and raspberries dominate the finish. The exceptional flavor and taste of this truly great Champagne make it a magnificent accompaniment to fine cuisine, or it can be enjoyed as an apéritif for its own superb merits.
